It boggles my mind that pieces of garbage like this can be made. The fact that a record company would put money behind this (and I'm sure it was a very large amount of money) makes me sad. I really lose faith in music when I hear crap like this. I actually feel dumber for having listened to this. I really do. My brain has simply slowed down. It's like years of schooling were suddenly all thrown out the door in the three minutes it took me to skip through this CD. I have heard fieldy on the bass. He is awful. The man simply has no musical talent. It's not his fault. Actually, now that I think about it, it is his fault. He should have been practicing the bass instead of making 17 tracks of this cross-over crap. I'm sure if your were to ask him, he would hide behind the "Well, if i'm so bad, how come my band sold millions of records?" excuse. My answer: Just because your musical group is successful doesn't make you a musician. I understand that it might be hard to produce something truely genuine when your locked in a studio all day, and your surrounded by people telling you that your music is fanatastic. Well, Brian Wilson did it, and he was on LSD, living in a sandbox, and trying to figure out what the color blue tasted like. So fieldy, you have no excuse. Lay off the pot. YOUR A DAD. If my dad went around telling everyone that he was "A Pimp" like Hue Heffner, I would: 1. Ask my mom how she felt about it. 2. Call Child Protective Services 3. Demand that he stop going to my PTA meetings 4. Move far away If you plan to buy this album, DON'T. If you have already purchased this album, I'm sorry.
