    Product Description
    This underground classic, originally made in 1993, is finally available on DVD. a Mocumentary of indie rock, the film stars members of seminal indie bands, including Rodan, June of 44, Sonora Pine, Retsin, Come, Crain and others.

    I will not take away from this movie some good things it has going for it: nice black & white film, decent but not fancy camera work, great music (if you like good noisy indie rock). What is so-so: plot is minimal and action is slow. I actually like this kind of movie when it is pulled off well, as it lets you linger on the atmospheres and the characters. If you don't like slow paced films, you'll really hate this. What is bad: the awful, awful, awful acting. Horrible. At one point I thought the guy was intentionally overacting, doing something in character. But he wasn't. Some of the actors are worse then others, but all of the main characters are painfully, distractingly bad. The acting pretty much sinks the movie. I'd really only recommend it if you are big fan of the type of music involved. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
