this is a rather disappointing release. all three b sides are live cover songs, and only "Alien Boy" is any good (a highlight encore in the Malkmus show I went to, very cool!) But Keep the Faith and That's What Mama Said are just awful. They sound like half of Molly Hatchet and some dude from a blues cover band got Malkmus real drunk and they just kind of tried to jam and mess around. I guess that doesn't make sense, but the point is that the single would be better if they just put Alien Boy on it.
