I've had this live recording in my record collection for over twenty years, but I never dreamed I'd see it on dvd. The live version of "Incantations" has always been far superior to the studio version (I usually prefer studio recordings), and the magnificent Maddy Prior delivers a haunting vocal of Longfellow's "Song of Hiawatha." Add to this a second dvd with a fine live version of "Tubular Bells," and you can't go wrong. Very well filmed for a late 70s production. A bit pricey at 35 bucks, but well worth it for any fan of Mike's music. Here's hoping they'll release the "Tubular Bells II, Live From Edinburgh Castle" dvd for U.S. coding. I've never understood why Mike doesn't respect his U.S. fans by making his dvd releases coded for all areas.
