I had the extreme pleasure of working as a steel player for Brad on 40 plus demos of his, and a portion of his soon to be released CD, "Who Needs Pictures". He is one of the most unassuming, genuinely sincere, young man I've ever met. I've played pedal steel for 25 years and I've never worked for anyone as talented. Watching him record guitar tracks was absolutely phenomenal. In 1995 when I began working with Brad I knew then that he was one of the very, very few who has what it takes to be a major success in Nashville over the long haul. For his debut album, Brad wrote or co-wrote every song on it as well as played every guitar part! This is almost unheard of on a debut album. The label must think pretty highly of him to permit this. Brad's music is so diverse that you'll find yourself crying, laughing, and really listening to his superb vocals and wonderful guitar playing (check out "The Nervous Breakdown"). BTW, Brad is a fine example of a sincere Christian and had a direct influence on me. If you like what you hear on this album, be assured that there is plenty more where this came from. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!
