Producer, guitarist and long-tiome friend Daniel Rey worked alongside Joey on DONT WORRY ABOUT ME. Joey recruited world class bassist Andy Shernoff (The Dictators) and split the drumming between FrankFunaro (Cracker and Del Lords) and special guest Marky Ramone.
A DualDisc is a two-sided disc made up of a CD on one side and a DVD on the other, DualDiscs breakthrough technology allows one disc to have it all. A full album on the CD side. All sorts of special material on the DVD side, including the full album in a 5.1 Surround Sound, exclusive video content and lyrics. DualDisc work wherever you play CDs and DVDs, including car stereos, PCs DVD Players, game consoles and CD players.
lets see first and foremost, this is a great way for Joey to go out. like a man who doesn't fear death and has kind hearted fun with it. hence the quote "it really sucks."(unlike say..the rather depressing Johnny Cash finals) lets say, it will leave you inspired and saying "thank you Joey!" instead of being "Aww Poor Joey!" some of the songs on here take some getting used to...treat it like Acid Eaters, Brain Drain or Mondo Bizarro. the ones i particularly like are "what a wonderful world," "spirit in my house," "Maria Bartiromo," and "dont worry about me." i would say that the only thing holding this one back from being the 15th Ramones album would be the lack of Johnny Ramone. on a final note, it was great to know that Joey at least did one thing in the new millenium. RIP dude!
