I've always found Rob Thomas to be a talented crafter of hook-laden songs. His distinctive voice lends itself well to his writings, and the results are songs that are instantly likeable and memorable. "Little Wonders" continues that streak and then some. There's a haunting, almost sentimental, feel to this song that is unshakeable. The gorgeous, U2-like opening imposes a sense of sadness to the song, but the lyrics lift the song to another place. They say that, in the end, the best parts of life are found in the little things that mean the most. My only recommendation is to spend a few extra dollars and pick up the soundtrack to "Meet the Robinsons"... I haven't seen the movie, but the other singles on the CD are great, and Dany Elfman's scoring is always entertaining.
