This is a solid soundtrack. Los Lobos do a good job of duplicating Ritchie Valens' old songs (although there was no accordion on the original versions). The other cover songs, by Howard Huntsberry, Marshall Crenshaw and Brian Setzer, are also well done. Bo Diddley does a great remake of his classic "Who Do You Love". The last two songs by Los Lobos are not Ritchie Valens songs, but they are okay. If you liked the movie, you will probably like the soundtrack, too. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
