For all of the freshman entries injected in the music market, few, if any have much to say about anything at all. Bill has more to say within this 66 min and 28 seconds which more than compensates for other's lack of brainwaves -- and with accordion accompaniment. Jugular has carried me through the musically dreadful 1990's and still remains more alive than a fresh avocado (for non-food people, avocados are fresh only very brief). VOL is more than part of the singer/songwriter movement, more than an acoustic-gone-rock band, more than Bill himself. It is a living entity through which we are brought closer together through highly inspired lyrics. I cannot describe or classify Jugular -- just find a copy and dig in. Jugular is always relevant.
