I usually end up liking records more if it takes half a dozen listens to get into the sound. It took that many to realize the sheer genius of this band. Myles Kennedy is so talented it makes me sick. (I too have unfullfilled fantasies of rock stardom but hearing this guy makes me understand why I'm not a star). This record rocks, souls, blues, and cries.
