This is a perfect example of a superb album consigned to the dustbin of history. Dan Zanes now releases albums that are family oriented but before embarking on that journey he released this fantastic disc that uses both R'n'B and rock'n'roll flavoured sound to deliver twelve terrific tunes. There is not a dud on this album from the scary opener 'Tested' to the aching beauty of closer 'Treasures of Love'. I'm not knocking his recent stuff but this is the real deal. Criminally neglected, it is deleted, you need to beg, borrow or steal to get your hands on this. While your at it check out his former band the Del Fuegos and his brother Warren's new album 'Memory Girls' a pop masterpiece if ever there was one. Mrs Zanes, you done good.
