This is when an adult is so impressed with a movie, book or CD that is ostensibly intended for children that they start trying to sell other ADULTS on it as well. For example, when the movie TOY STORY came out, every adult I knew would ask if I had seen it. "Oh, you HAVE to," the Pod Person would exclaim, "it's not just for kids!" As you can imagine, this is mildly annoying. I swore never to be a Pod Person, and if it wasn't for Justin Roberts, I would keep that promise. But after listening to this bright, breezy, funny, infinitely catchy and wonderfully crafted album, I want to encourage every adult I know to give it a spin. MELTDOWN is just darned good pop music.
