"My Own Worst Enemy" inspired me to buy this gem, and when I sat down and listened to it, I was completely blown away. Of course, at the time, it was only for a few songs. "Four", "My Own Worst Enemy", "Down", and "Lovely Day". Then...as time passed (days into weeks, months into years) I eventually grew to love and adore just about every song on the album. One of the best songs on the album, "Miserable", uses a very clever play on words to describe a jaded view of the course of a relationship. This is a family website though so I won't explain why. "A Place In The Sun" was a surprise for me. At first it sounds very..."GRR!" but it turns into some beautiful melodic rock. The one sore spot, and the song that made them famous for a bit, was "Zip-Lock". I really don't find much endearing about this song. It is lackluster, a little too long, and anti-climatic. I do not understand how this song, and it's similarly muted video, rocked the country for a bit. Oh well. Oh...and I got this album when it came out. This definitely wasn't a recent discovery, just a recent REdiscovery. I simply couldn't imagine life without this album!
